Somerton House is a Grade ll listed Georgian property with blue lias ashlar stonework. a clay tiled roof, stone copings and brick chimneys. It has a Regency style 6-panel door, with Chippendale style fanlight with a simple hood above a neo classical surround. On the east side of the house are double timber doors opening to a driveway to the rear courtyard. The doors and part of the drive being sheltered by a tiled roof.
